CTO Health Services supported by Montgomery County is providing 300 FREE LAPTOPS to Montgomery county residents who do not have a computer on 09/10/2022 at Montgomery College- Rockville Campus. MUST REGISTER BY 09/02/2022.
“Ensuring good health and wellbeing is far beyond medically diagnosed risk factors and protective factors – it is addressing the root causes of health inequality that create an uneven playing field.The goal is to bridge the digital divide, especially for marginalized populations; giving people new opportunities and knocking down barriers leads to healthier lives. We are excited for this event and this partnership with Montgomery County for the community.” said Dr. Sylvia Ejeh.
Every person receiving a computer:
Must be a Montgomery County resident
Must be able to certify you do not have access to a computer at home
Must be at least age 7 or older. ( Students, Parents, working adults, and seniors are eligible.)
Must have a library card number or visit mcpl.link/library-card to get a digital library card
Must have an appointment(ticket) to pick up
Everyone, including children, must appear in person with their own ID and have an individual appointment to pick up a computer.
All children receiving computers must have a school ID, bus pass, report card, or other form of photo identification. Children in elementary school may bring a report card with an address matching their parent or caregiver’s address instead of a photo ID.
